UPDATE on young man detained by Israeli soldiers

Last month i posted an email I recieved from my friend John Perkins, a freelance photograperh. A friend of his in Palestine was kidnapped by Israeli soldiers. He went to Nablus to see the family and see if there is anyway he could help. He sent me his diary for the few days he spent trying to accompany Fadhi to Cairo through Jordan. This was in February. Unfortuantely Fadhi was arrested by the Israelis.

John will be interviewing some people and hopefully writing a story.

Kefaya activists Nadia and Waleed have been kidnapped

Pictures, taken by photographer Amr Abdallah, of police agents kidnapping Kefaya activists Nadia Mabrouk and Waleed Salah Tuesday, 14 November, afternoon, during the anti-Sexual harassment protest in front of Cinema Metro. The two are currently locked up at the Qasr el-Nil Police Station, where activist Mohamed el-Sharqawi was tortured and sexually abused last May on the hands of police officers.
A story on yesterday's demo was published in the Daily Stars
According to a report from Hossam Al-Hamalawy:
Kefaya activists Nadia Mabrouk and her fiance Waleed Salah are spending the night in Qasr el-Nil Police Station, and will be transferred to the prosecutor in the morning on charges of possessing leaflets of anti-regime inflammatory contents, disturbing public order, etc..
